aviation industry. Specifically, 47 CFR Part 87 Aviation Services

areas such as applications and licenses, aircraft stations and unicom,
search-and-rescue stations, and airport control tower stations. The most
helpful section is Subpart E--Frequencies (87.169 through 87.173) because it
describes the "class of station" and the radio frequency range used for each
class.
