2016-07-25-Oshkosh-AirVenture: 2016 Experimental Aviation Association AirVenture, Oshkosh Airport (KOSH), WI, becomes the world's busiest airport for 8 days a year. This year, I was able to participate with Cessnas-2-Oshkosh, the mass arrival of 85 Cessnas. The C2O crowd has a red and white tent for us to meet when it is raining, make breakfast for the group, and charge our electronic devices. Because there is extra training and logistics for C2O, we meet a few days before our Saturday mass arrival at Juneau Airport (KUNU), about 30 miles south of Oshkosh. This year broke some records at AirVenture for number and type of participants. The Martin Mars flying boat was there, and I even won an autographed T-Shirt of it at the Seaplane Pilots Association "Corn Roast". FUN! Already planning for next year!
