2015-06-12-CAP-OSH-Cadet-Power-Academy: Civil Air Patrol, Great Lakes Region, Cadet Flight Academy (Power) was conducted at Oshkosh Airport (KOSH), Oshkosh, WI. We billeted in the CAP National Blue Beret CAP facility on the Oshkosh Airport. Our Cessna 172 training airplanes were parked at the east end of the "P1" taxiway, named for EAA founder: Paul Howard Poberezny, who died in 2013. We had 20 cadets, 10 flying airplane and a few spares. Weather was great, allowing all 20 cadets to solo or pre-solo, depending on their FAA medical/student pilot certificate status. Each cadet progressed as much as they possibly could have, considering their FAA paperwork. Yea cadets and staff!!! I forgot to take pictures for a few days, then I dropped my camera and broke it, then I took some pictures on my CELL phone...those are now uploaded. Need to get a new camera!
