2014-10-07-Idaho-Priest-Lake: Fort Collins to Steamboat Springs to Priest Lake, Idaho, and environs... a trip to visit with friends, make new friends, see new places and consider future flying adventures. A previous trip to Sandpoint, Idaho taught me that I might be interested in exploring northern Idaho. An opportunity presented itself when Bob DelValle invited me (Jer/ Eberhard) on a trip with his Cessna 182, and friends Rod and Kim Williams to their other house at Cavanaugh Bay, Idaho, with its own grass airstrip (66S), next to Priest Lake, ID. William's daughter Sara and family dogs Diani and Sam were a delight while exploring the nearby airports from the air and Priest Lake from the water.
